    The week opens at $5 and the minimum is always $1 above the standing leader. Bid more than the minimum if you want to hold it.

    Every bid is charged when you place it

    All bids are final - every paid bid holds a ranked sponsored slot for the week. If someone outbids you, you move down the ranked list rather than out of it, and nothing is refunded.

    Sponsored placement is never organic rank

    The leader takes the top slot in the homepage sponsored strip, clearly labelled. Nothing on this page changes where a listing sits in the organic ranking - that is decided by its economics alone.
